Worktable Wednesday- 80 Custom Oven Mits by Pasque Flower Creations!
Worktable Wednesday features something new happening with the BBA members or something of interest we spy online.
Our own LeAnn of Pasque Flower Creations has been busy sewing her fingers to the bone recently attempting to fill an astronomically large custom order- 80 Oven Mits!! She's up to her elbows in poppies, & up to her ears in her "Metro Cafe" style fabric!
You can read the details on her blog, but here's her progress so far:
This poppy fabric is lovely, but LeAnn comments that she feels, "a little like Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, getting a bit weary looking at all those poppies." Wouldn't you??
The latest progress report states that she had 10 partially finished mits left to go! I'm sure by now LeAnn has them completed, but what a marathon!

Tuesday Treasuries
Treasuries on etsy are gallery collections of items for sale grouped under a theme chosen by the curator. This is a fun way to showcase the talents and work of creative shop owners.
Blogging Business Artisans requires its members to curate one treasury per month. Each week we will feature one of the past week's treasuries here on our team blog.
The treasury and each item within the treasury is clickable!

This week we feature a very special treasury, Ode to Sadie, a tribute to a favorite sweet dog, dear Sadie. This treasury was curated by Nancy of N Fallon Design Studio.
Here are a couple items featured in this treasury:
The photo (left) of this journal features Sadie herself! Sharla offers a few journals in her shop Beaded Tail along with her lovely jewelry--earrings, bracelets, and necklaces. Many of her jewelry pieces feature an animal theme. In addition, Sharla gives a portion of her proceeds to animal causes.
Look at this cute dog PDF pattern from Sher Hastings Designs! Sher's shop is full of lovely, fun, and cute patterns for sewing and paper arts.
Our teammates have made some awesome treasuries! I highly urge you to visit them if you have not yet seen them.
