BeadedTail
PhotobucketI'm Sharla from BeadedTail.  I'm a lifelong animal lover and have combined that with a love of beading since early 2008 as a way to raise funds for animal charities.    I also do some beadweaving and am enjoying that very much although I wish the beads were not so itty bitty!

I was born and raised in Kansas and began my move out West after college.  My first stop was 12 years along the front range in Northern Colorado and the last 8 years have been in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.  I love having the option of traveling an hour one direction to the mountains or an hour the other direction to the coast.  Everywhere in between is filled with beauty too.

I have a bachelor's degree in Finance and a Masters degree in Tax.  I'm a CPA and telecommute to a small public accounting office in Colorado where I prepare business, fiduciary and individual tax returns.   To relax from all that I enjoy spending time with my husband of 23 years and of course my furbabies - two cats, Angel & Isabella, and my dog, Sadie.  I love to read, travel, hike and bake.  I'm also a very amateur photographer with my main subjects being my pets.  I'd love to write the next great novel one day!  My main dream is to have an animal sanctuary for pets left behind after their owners have passed away or those considered special needs due to any age or health issues.

Your intro is so inspiring, Sharla! I have moved away from writing fiction the last 5 years, but I would love to publish a novel someday, too. I love that you've combined your love of jewelry and animals with your shop.

I love the midwest, but I have to admit that I'm envious of your juxtaposition to the coast and mountains!

It's fun learning more about you Sharla. We have so much in common, living in KS and then moving to the PNW :) I hope you can achieve your dreams of a pet sanctuary.
