Monday Member Mini -- Linda B's Jewelry

Today's Monday Member Mini features the very talented Linda of Linda B's Jewelry!

Linda creates very unique, one-of-a-kind handbeaded and wire wrapped jewelry using gemstones and glass. She loves to use bright colors and gemstone characteristics in her jewelry, and includes the meaning of the color or gemstone, and its healing properties, in her descriptions.

Linda also carries a line of Judaica jewelry and accessories. Her women's beaded wire kippot and earrings made for Jewish holidays are her specialty, and best sellers. Each kippah is made of copper, gold or silver wire threaded with lovely beads, pearls or Swarovski crystals -- beautiful! The earrings are lovely, made with colors and charms depicting Jewish holidays and traditions.

A little known fact about Linda is that one of her cats -- Buddy -- likes to help her bead .... he also enjoys working on the computer to help list items in her shop. Hmmm, I wonder which pieces of jewelry were created by Buddy!!

Monday Member Mini -- JN Originals

It's time for our Monday Member Mini again, and this time we are featuring Judy of JN Originals!

Judy is a very talented crocheter and makes lovely accessories for women such as hats, scarves and fingerless gloves. Her flower brooches are beautifully made of perle cotton thread which makes them just the slightest bit shiny -- and they are finished off with a pretty button or silk flower in the center! Lovely! Judy uses a similar technique on her hats and headwarmers -- they are accessorized with a large flower with a button for the center that always completes her pieces and makes them very unique.

Before I was ever on this team, I had marked Judy's felted needle books as some of my favorites -- little round wool booklets to put your pins and needles in as you sew or do needlework. No more sticking the needle in the arm of the couch! Judy also carries felted "Rebecca Bags" -- clutches just the right size for your necessities -- and felted bowls and cup cozies. All with her signature flower or special button to make each a one-of-a-kind creation!

With a couple of other Etsy shops, Judy is certainly a busy artist! She makes papercrafted accessories and gifts in her Mister PenQuin shop, and also carries craft supplies and needlework patterns and kits in her 2nd Chance Treasures shop.

Janet makes absolutely beautiful jewelry pieces that she says are inspired by her passion for nature, travel, and the creative life. Monday Member Mini -- Sher Hastings Designs

Monday Member Mini time has rolled around again and today we are featuring Sheryl of Sher Hastings Designs!

Sheryl has crafted all her life and also worked in her family's printing business.  The skills she acquired helped to bring her to her love of graphic design and PDF pattern making. Her shop is full of graphic and clipart sets for scrapbooking, as well as background paper digital images. From cats to Christmas, she carries designs for any theme!

She makes fun PDF patterns for planners and lists to keep you organized -- even project sheets to help you plan your next crafting project!!  Plus there are applique templates to add flair to your sewing projects. (They are really cute -- I'm kind of partial to the Chef Pig -- how fun he would be on some pot holders!)

Monday Member Mini -- Artful Rising

Today we are going to visit Erika of Artful Rising!  Erika is the Captain of our BBA team, runs two Etsy shops, writes a newsletter to challenge and inspire your creativity, and has recently made the decision to work outside the home. She's one busy lady!!

Erika creates art journals with prompts to inspire you and pages to create your own art, fitness journals to record your daily workout info, and blank journals that can be used for anything you want -- your daily thoughts, prayers, dreams -- your sketches -- class notes -- to-do lists.  All with clever titles to spur you on or make you smile!

Little Andalucia is Erika's other shop where she has sweet PDF skirt patterns for little girls, in addition to designer fabrics. I especially like her cute crayon roll for kids to take along on the road!

Monday Member Mini -- A Bird in the Hand Art

Today's Member Mini features Jenny Chang of A Bird in the Hand Art!

Jenny creates lovely jewelry and home decor items using a variety of techniques. Inspired by the beautiful colors of birds, Jenny uses them quite often in her items -- her shop is filled with birds! Much of her jewelry begins with a wood shape and then pops with color from beautiful fabrics artistically arranged onto the wood. 

Jenny is also an artist and you will find different birds painted on her cute wallet clutches, wooden boxes, and original acrylics on canvas. My personal favorites are her cardinals!

Milo, Jenny's orange tabby, likes to help her while she's creating -- probably because of all the birds flying about her shop!!

Monday Member Mini -- Beaded Tail

It's time for another Monday Member Mini and today we are featuring Sharla of Beaded Tail!

Sharla creates lovely jewelry, most with an animal design -- particularly cats and dogs! She has recently introduced a line of journals, also with the animal theme -- these have clever titles like "Paws for Thought" which is my personal favorite!

Because of her love of animals, Sharla supports organizations that help animals with special needs or disabilities. Through her shop sales she has steadily increased the amount of her donations over the last several years. Her own pets (two lovely cats and a sweet dog) were all rescued and adopted from the humane society.

Monday Member Mini -- Memories for Life Scrapbooks

Edi of Memories for Life Scrapbooks is our featured artist for today's Monday Member Mini!

Edi's shop is full of fabulous laser cut and laser engraved items -- her photo and memory albums are so unique with their laser cut words and personalized names. The pages are decorated with scrapbook embellishments with plenty of room left for your photos!

If you're looking for engraved wood or etched glass items, this shop is the place to go! From glasses to wooden guest books, frames and wine bottle stoppers, you're sure to find what you need! Monday Member Mini -- N. Fallon Design Studio

It's time for another Monday Member Mini and today we are featuring Nancy of N. Fallon Design Studio. Nancy knits beautiful purses and wallets, as well as lovely scarves and the cutest heart brooches you'll ever see! Her zipper wristlet pouches are just the right size to carry as a small purse or to hold your makeup -- some even have matching coin purses!

Nancy also carries a line of cards -- gift tag sized with matching envelopes. She says that she "loves combining color and pattern in fresh new ways" and these little card definitely qualify! A very talented artisan, she also paints in watercolor and then offers limited edition prints of her whimsical work.

Nature's beautiful colors definitely influence Nancy's designs, whether in her shop or for personal projects!

Monday Member Mini -- Splendid Little Stars

Today we are featuring Margaret of Splendid Little Stars -- one of the most colorful shops in the Etsy family! Margaret has been creating and selling hand-dyed and hand-painted clothing for over 20 years and began her journey in tie-dying with inspiration from her daughter's first grade teacher.

Ranging from bright and fun colors to soft and subtle tones, the Splendid Little Stars shop is full of t-shirts, hair scrunchies, scarves and even washcloths! All tie-dyed or hand painted and beautiful.

In addition to the wonderful tie-dye and hand-painted designs offered in her shop, Margaret also teaches the art of tie-dyeing to youth groups in her area, sells at arts and craft shows, does commission work, and supplies fundraisers. Whew! Margaret is a very busy lady!!

Monday Member Mini -- Pruitt Creations

It's Monday Member Mini time again and today's featured artist is Linda of Pruitt Creations!

Linda makes lovely fabric creations for the home including coasters, coffee cozies and pillows, and fabulous little zipper pouches designed to hold any and everything (great for keeping your purse in order)! She creates beautiful quilts and the loveliest nature-inspired embroidered hoop art. And for the kids, there are crayon rolls and the sweetest little cuddle blankies that can also keep dolly warm!

With a family of ten and grandchildren totaling 26 (the newest born just recently), Linda also keeps busy making household items for her daughters and daughters-in-law, as well as clothing and dolls for her grandchildren. There's a lot of family around the dining table on holidays, and I would say that Linda is truly blessed.

Monday Member Mini -- Random Creative

It's the second Monday in March and thus time for another Monday Member Mini!  Today we're showcasing Rose of Random Creative!

Rose creates the most beautiful bracelets, pendants, necklaces and earrings made using beads and buttons. Her beadweaving designs are strikingly unique and her button bracelets are so colorful and fun! In addition to her beaded beauties, Rose also makes charm sets that can be worn alone on any chain, or added to one of her creations so that the look may be changed -- oh, the possibilities!

Random Creative is chock full of fabulous jewelry, but there's another of Rose's loves sneaking in -- greeting cards! She is just beginning to offer them and I hope to see more in her shop!

You can also find Rose at craft fairs where she sells the cutest button magnets, pins and hairpins. She is one busy (and talented) woman!! And here's something I just discovered about Rose -- she has been featured in three issues of Bead Trends magazine!

Kathy is an accomplished artist who is surrounded by the beauty of country living and paints the horses and other animals who live on her farm. She's mainly a watercolor artist, but dabbles in pen and ink drawings, acrylics, and pastels from time to time! I love to wander through her shop -- she captures the soulful expressions of her beloved horses and makes you feel as if you could reach out and touch them right then and there!

When Kathy was in grade school, she wrote that when she grew up she wanted to be a cowgirl -- well, I think that she has accomplished her goal and, fortunately for us, she loves to share her critters in her shop!
