October Prelude to the Holidays Link Party

The monthly challenge for October was Prelude to the Holidays by LeAnn of pasqueflower. This is what she had to say about the theme: "October! It is time to start thinking ahead to the holidays -- Halloween, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas and New Year. They will be here before we know it!
This month, I challenge you to create a holiday-themed item. It could be a new listing for your Etsy shop, a holiday decoration for your home, a costume or special accessory for a holiday gathering, or a gift you intend to give to a friend or loved one.
Since "prelude" is a musical term, you could also make something music-themed if you wish."

October Monthly Challenge - Prelude to the Holidays

This month's challenge is brought to us by LeAnn of pasqueflower. Her theme is Prelude to the Holidays and she writes this about her challenge:
"October!

Here are a few holiday items from your teammates to get you inspired!

Each month the team will have a challenge with a designated theme. You are to participate in 4 of these themes per year. Your project can be something as simple as a greeting card or gift tag, something for your home, something you add to your shop (but not required). The challenges are meant to be fun and give you ideas for new projects, allow you to try new mediums or add new items to your shop. Create something for the given theme and blog about the project at some point during the month. Then add your link to the team blog post around the 25th of each month.
